Love is when you're at the hospital with an allergic reaction and your husband comes in and immediately asks where you are.
I witnessed this by my Dad tonight.
You could just see the look of slight panic on his face and he wanted to know where my Mom was and how she was doing.
It's hard to describe the look, but to me that was a look of love.
♥
P.S. sitting in the E.R. reminds me of the tv show "ER" so I was giving the nurses/doctors character names to keep my Momma occupied.
I'm going to attempt to make this a regular thing, this "what is love?" thing, mainly because it's a goal in life to let myself accept what love is I guess?...But also because I see many sweet things done by couples especially when I'm at work. The older couples are so sweet :)

this is pretty. i hope your mom is doing well! and i would love for this to be a regular occurrence... its always fun reading about love :)
aw, this made me want to burst into tears. Stupid hormones! :)
Hope your momma feels better! I love that you were giving the doctors names.
I LOVE this post. I've been contemplating it too lately, glad to see I am not alone. Sometimes I wonder if I really know what I know. Does that make sense? I love growing wiser with age but sometimes I feel like I've been too sure of what love is previously.
I agree, that's totally love right there :)
I don't think love is getting butterflies when you see someone though. I think that's just 'liking' or fancying someone.
I've been asking that all weekend.
Soooo glad I read this!! Thank you & please continue to make this a regular occurrence.
